This page is about the history of Earth, humans, the Anunnaki (Nefilim), Nibiru and the Sumerians. All based on the information in Zecharia Sitchin's books known as the Earth Chronicles (the first of which is "The 12th Planet")

Our Solar System and Earth Problems on Nibiru Genesis Collecting the Gold The Mars Connection Mining for Gold is Hard Work And God Created Man The Garden of Edin StoryI’ll start this off with some background information:
The Sumerians were Earth’s first known civilization, suddenly appearing out of nowhere about 6,000 years ago. The wheel, boats & ships, animal pulled vehicles, buildings, kiln, brick, schools & writing & scribes, laws, kingship and citizens, music, art, chemistry, textiles, religion & temples all begin there. So did astronomy, constellations/zodiac, using the number 12 as of divisions of time, and the calendar.

Section of the
From this planet the Sumerians over and over again persistently stated, that the ANUNNAKI (“Those who from Heaven to Earth came”) reside. The Bible mentions them as the “Anakim”, and in Chapter 6 of Genesis they are also called the “Nefilim” (which is Hebrew for “Those Who Have Come Down, from the Heavens to Earth.”) And it was these beings that taught the Sumerians what they know (the stuff in paragraph one, among others.)
Sitchin has translated from the Sumerian tests that the Anunnaki came to Earth around 445,000 years ago.
Our Solar System and Earth
Ok, now to back track a little (actually a
lot.) In the beginning before Earth
existed as we now know it, the solar system was quite different.
It consisted of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter & Saturn,
Uranus,
All this information so far is the “in my own words” version I got from looking back over the first part of Sitchin’s book “Genesis Revisited”. In the book, there are much more details and Sumerian translations that make the story a “Celestial Battle” epic. His book and “The 12 Planet” also retell this story and much more. I also recall seeing a Discovery Channel television show in which scientist used a computer program that demonstrated all this as the most reasonable explanation as to why our solar system is the way it is. Let it be known that the Sumerians knew this 6,000 years ago, and Zecharia Sitchin has brought it back to the mainstream since the late 1970’s.
The Lost Book of Enki & Genesis
Now I’m going to continue the story by telling some of Sitchin’s latest book, “The Lost Book of Enki”, in my own words. This is a wonderful book, it’s like reading Genesis the way it was meant to be read. First of all, I’ll need to give a bit more background information.
Now that I have explained who the Anunnaki are and where they come from, you need to know that there was a king or president or leader of Nibiru and all its people (the Anunnaki) named Anu. Anu is the leader of the pantheon of twelve (think Greek mythology’s Zeus—the pantheon being Nibiru’s government.) Anu has two sons, Enlil and Enki. Though Enki was the first born, Enlil holds the rights to take over after his father due to his blood line. Needless to say, battles occur between Enki and Enlil’s families over time (though this isn’t important right now.) Ok, now on to the “The Lost Book of Enki”
Problems on Nibiru
Due to the elliptical orbit of Nibiru, the planet (reddish in radiance) spent long amount of time in the cold (away from the sun) and some time in the hot (near the sun.) The thick atmosphere of Nibiru sustains life on the planet, like a warm coat the atmosphere keeps the planet warm with its inner heat (partly volcanic activity) when it is away from the sun and when near the sun the atmosphere shields the planet from the harmful rays. From long periods of evolution, the Anunnaki came to be. After time the Anunnaki fought wars against each other, until it was decided that a king and government should be made to keep the land civil. As I mentioned earlier, Anu eventually became this king or leader and with his pantheon/government controlled the land. As time went on, the atmosphere began to weaken, the cold spells were colder and the heat was hotter, they started experiments to see what was going on with their atmosphere and attempt to fix it, which all failed. The councils learned that gold suspended in the atmosphere as a powder could fix their problem, but such mineral was extremely rare on Nibiru. (Think of modern astronauts helmet visors, coated with gold for protection…) However they knew that the inner planets did have abundance of such mineral (they examined and studied the planets as the orbit of their own passed by them.) Meanwhile one of the Anunnaki by the name of Alalu was the leader of Nibiru and Anu challenged him for the throne by hand to hand combat. Alalu lost and Anu was hailed as king. Alalu sneaked off to the place of celestial chariots, also called celestial boats (space ships, whatever you want to call them...), and into one which “throws missiles” he took off into space, with a destination set to planet Earth. Apparently, he was afraid for his life and was very embarrassed at the loss of the battle against Anu so he fled. His plan was to get to earth (which no one had done before) and find the gold that Nibiru’s atmosphere needed. In the hopes of doing so, he thought he would be granted kingship over Nibiru for saving the planet. When he got to the asteroid belt he shot a missile at it to open a hole for which he could enter. His “ship” had a beam which could analyze the contents of the Earth to find the gold he needed. When he got to Earth he used the beam and found that Earth indeed does contain the precious mineral. He crash landed in the marsh land and survived; he surveyed the land and found it fit to sustain life, he found fish in the water and vegetation. He went out into the sea and found some pieces of gold and then radioed back to Nibiru his achievements and demanded that because of them he should be ruled king of Nibiru upon his return. Anu appointed a team with Enki in command to go to earth and verify Alalu’s achievements. Enki and his team made it to Earth and searched for Alalu’s beacon signal to land.
Now this is a part of the book which first brings to mind the words of Genesis in the Bible: On their first day on Earth, they found the landing spot where the ocean met the dry land, where four rivers were swallowed by marshes and so they landed there and then sent word to Nibiru of their successful arrival. Then they set up a place for encampment and watched in amazement at the setting sun; and then too excited to sleep they waited to marvel at the rising sun. On this second day, they tested the waters and purified them for drinking and set up rain water gathering places. Enki appointed Enbilulu to be in charge of the marshes and put him in charge of setting ditch and dike as a boundary for the marshes. On the third day, they examined the orchards, herbs, fruits and discovered a honey plant for eating. Enki appointed Guru in charge of distinguishing the good of the food that grows. On the fourth day, they took their tools from the chariots and fashioned clay and bricks for building their abodes, Enki appointed Kulla to be in charge of mold and brick for the clay bricks to be fashioned; and that night they made note of the lesser light of the moon. On the fifth day, they made a reed boat and set up traps for catching fish and fowl. Enki appointed Ulmash to be in charge of distinguishing the good and bad of the fowl that fly. On the sixth day, they took into account the creatures of the orchards, that of which creeps and walks on feet, Enki appointed Enursag to be in charge of this task; they also set up a fence for protection. On the seventh day, Enki recapped all they have done and set this day to be a day of resting and said “the seventh day hereafter will be a day of resting always to be.” And he named their encampment Eridu, meaning Home in the Faraway. As a promise Enki proclaimed Alalu to be commander of Eridu (however it is made clear when they first landed that Enki said to all those assembled: “Enki words of command spoke. Here on Earth I am the commander!” He said.)
[This version of early Genesis makes much more sense to me than the Bibles version of a seemingly all powerful, all knowing “God” who “creates” or “makes” all of things of the Earth, seemingly at will.]
Now that the encampment of Eridu was set up
and food obtainable, Enki’s next task was to start gathering the gold.
At first they found gold and other minerals in the waters.
They would gather these minerals and then separate the metals.
They ended up with a lot of iron and copper but not much gold.
As they were doing this Enki was monitoring the moon during the nights.
As it waxed and waned, Enki learned the pattern of the circuit and called
it the month. He then watched and
learned as the sun gave seasons to the Earth about every six months, and he
called them summer and winter. At
the years end they counted their collected gold and came to the conclusion that
there was just not enough of it in the waters to fulfill their purpose.
Enki appointed Abgal and Anzu to deliver the gold they did have back to
Nibiru. They repaired Alalu’s ship
and removed its weapons, Enki hid the weapons (seven of them) in a secret place
so no more destruction could be caused by them.
The ship with its baskets of gold returned to Nibiru.
The gold was tested and ground into a fine powder then launched into a
part of the atmosphere that needed healing.
The gold worked, it fixed that part of their atmosphere, now they needed
more gold to heal the rest of it. Back
on Earth, Enki surveyed the lands until he found a land mass in the shape of a
heart (
Alalu demanded another wrestling match, of which the winner would take the throne on Nibiru and again Alalu lost. Anu declared that Alalu shall never be allowed to return to Nibiru, upon hearing this Alalu desperately & unsuspectingly managed to bite off the malehood of Anu. Enlil wanted to punish Alalu by death but Enki stepped up and shouted “No! justice is within him, in his stomach poison has entered!” (Since Alalu also swallowed it.) Alalu was in great pain, his stomach swollen with the poison. Back on Nibiru seven judges were deciding on Alalu’s punishment, they decided to exile Alalu by sending him to Mars to live out his days in pain. So Anzu piloted Alalu’s chariot to Mars and stayed with Alalu until his death, in which he also buried him. Anu declared Anzu to be the commander of the planet Mars (called Lahmu in the book) and to set it up as a way station for delivering the gold from Earth to Nibiru. Soon after Alalu landed he died from the poisoned stomach. Anzu found a great rock, like a mountain, and in the rock he found a cave. He hid Alalu’s corpse in the cave and covered the entrance with stones. In remembrance of Alalu (since he was a king on Nibiru earlier in his life and was the one who first discovered Earth's gold) they carved an image of him in upon the great rock mountain, they showed him wearing an Eagle’s helmet, his face they made uncovered. The image of Alalu gazes forever toward Nibiru and toward the Earth whose gold he discovered.
The face on Mars is that of Alalu, maybe someday an excavation of it will discover the tomb and possibly his remains...
Mining for gold is Hard Work
So now to skip forward a little bit… The
landing places for ships have been constructed at their needed places, various
abodes for the gods have been fashioned, gold ore crunching and crushing
machines are made, and way stations on Mars and possibly the moon are set up.
By this time six hundred Anunnaki were on Earth and three hundred Igigi
(“Igigi” i.e. Anunnaki on Lahmu—Mars) were at the way station on Mars.
These were the “Heroes of Nibiru”, their home planet’s saviors.
In the Edin a “
[Remember that Edin was an entire area, not just a garden as in the Garden of Eden, hence the Garden of Eden is just as it says, a garden IN (or in part OF) Eden. This area of Eden has been confirmed in other research such as that found in the book “Legend” by David Rohl, in which he has located this actual “area” and the garden within it (In which he says: “The biblical Garden of Eden is to be identified with the Adji Chay valley in north-west Iran at the heart of which is the regional capital of Tabriz, an area known as Armenia—slightly north west of Kurdestan”) “Legend—The Genesis of Civilization” is a great book on this subject, I highly recommend it. Ok now back to the story.]
So in Bad-Tibira the gold ore was smelted and refined, then by rocketships to Mars (Lahmu) it was sent, then in celestial chariots from Mars to Nibiru the pure gold was delivered. On Nibiru the breach in the atmosphere was slowly being healed.
About this time Enki decided to learn more about the Earth, its cycles, atmosphere, and indigenous life on the planet. He was especially interested in the creature that lived among the tall trees, with their front legs as hands they were using [I assume these to be monkeys or apes.] And in the tall grasses of the steppes “odd creatures were seen; erect they seemed to be walking” [perhaps Homo erectus or a Neanderthal beings.] Meanwhile the Anunnaki workers in the gold mines were complaining and a mutiny was beginning. The mine-working heroes were shouting hostilities, demanding relief, and setting fire to their tools and axes, and they seized their Chief Officer of Mining. Then surrounded Enlil’s dwelling and declared to him their hostilities of excessive toil, heavy work and great distress. Enlil consulted with Anu on the matter and Enki was later brought in to help.
So now that the “go ahead” had been given Enki and Ninmah began to fashion the new being. They started out by testing their theories on animals out in the fields. They ended up with strange creatures that had foreparts of one animal and hindparts of another. They kept testing until they learned how to combine essences correctly. They did this by mixing the Earth being female’s egg and male Anunnaki’s blood essence, at first they created the admixture in a crystal vessel. They later learned that to correctly make the admixture, they would have to use a clay vessel. Then they had to figure out which womb should be used for conception to begin. They started by using a surrogate Earth being female to carry out conception. They got better results but it still wasn’t perfect and the trial & error continued until finally they decided to use a surrogate Anunnaki female to carry out conception. Ninmah herself decided that she would be the one to carry the conception. Finally Ninmah gave birth to a boy, Enki held the boy in his hands; the image of perfection he was. He slapped the newborn on his hindparts and the newborn uttered the proper sounds! The newborn’s visage and limbs were examined, the ears were in proper shape, the limbs, hindparts, legs, foreparts and hands were all proper. He had dark black hair and smooth skin like dark red blood was the color, like the clay of the Abzu was its hue. It’s malehood was odd shaped, by it had a foreskin, not like the Anunnaki. By the foreskin let the Earthling from us Anunnaki be distinguished, Enki announced. Enki named him Adamu, meaning “One Who Like Earth’s Clay Is”. Enki announced, A model Primitive Worker we have indeed attained! A model indeed he shall be; as for himself, like a Firstling he shall be treated, From toil he himself shall be protected, his essence alone as a mold shall be!
Now seven female Anunnaki stepped forward to be the next surrogate mothers. “To a unity shall the two essences, one of Heaven, one of Earth, together be brought”, Ninmah said. In which in seven clay vessels, ovals of the two-legged female Earth beings and the blood essence of Adamu were mixed. Then the fertilized ovals were inserted into the seven female Anunnaki volunteers. After the conception, birth-givings occurred and seven male Earthlings were born. Again all their features and everything was perfect. It was taking to long for the Earthlings to be produced in this manner so female counterparts for males needed to be fashioned. The new mixture was made and Enki’s wife, Ninki volunteered to be the birth-mother. And by Ninki a female Earthling was born, Ninki named the newborn Ti-Amat, “Mother of Life”. After this seven female Earthlings were brought into being.
So now Enki, Adamu and Ti-Amat were taken to
the city of
